Days Of Confusion: Seeds
17/10/13 || Pr0nogo
With a name like Days of Confusion, a lot of fun is bound to be had, right? Well, an initial listen would certainly prove to be… confusing. That’s the impression I’ve had even after multiple runs through their 2013 release, “Seeds“ – it’s just confusing. The Romanian four-piece are mixing the downtuned guitars and simplistic riffs of metalcore with the clean vocals and faux-harsh screams of ‘alternative’ groups like Five Finger Death Puke, and they pull off a similar sound to the aforementioned band – catchy, but ultimately faceless and disappointing. The drum fills aren’t that much more inspired, with the engineering feeling very flat and pro-tooled. There are moments here and there that sound alright, but nothing on this record is remotely worth anyone’s time. The only truly confusing part about this release is the fact that it’s promo was sent to me…
Listen and watch here.
3/10 Maybe these guys will earn some respect if they suck the right dick. Their music sure won’t help them.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
